The hard works and sacrificial dedication of many missionaries have enlightened our nation. The names; Robert D. Nobilee, Francis Savior, William Carey, Benjamin Bailey, Herman Gundert, Robert F. Cook are just a few examples.

The services of missionaries were able to answer most of the myriad problems such as poverty, hunger, sickness, racial discrimination, sathi, child sacrifice, and human sacrifice that plagued our nation. Their contribution towards educational and medical fields is remarkable. The services of the missionaries were helpful in the enhancement of vernacular languages as well.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is able to heal the wounds of thousands of spiritually injured men in India. The life story of Christian martyrs Graham Stewart Stanes and his dear children Philip and Timothy are just examples only.

Only the gospel of Jesus Christ will be able to uplift India in every respect while it faces many challenges and obstacles. Relying on the Grace of God, Bethel International Theological Seminary in Mannamaruthy, Ranny has started with this insight of the vision and mission of evangelizing India. We solicit your cooperation and prayers in our endeavors.

India is waiting for the Word of God even today. Let us give our bread to thousands of starving people. Let the rivers of Christ’s living water be a relief to them.

Theology is the science about God. Studying and presenting a subject scientifically is helpful to have a comprehensive idea of that subject. It is possible to study and analyze theology just as Physics is studied. The word Thoelogia is formed by the combination of two Greek words Theo and Logos. Theos mean God and Logos means science. The word Theologia means the science about God. When the Greek word Theologia appeared in English language through Latin it became Theology. .
